I GET IT!  in Faribault is a theme you will hear a lot about in the months and years ahead. We were selected by the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism to develop an interactive website for their Faribault Shop Local campaign.

ShopFaribaultMN.com is a dynamic Web 2.0 website that offers a high degree of interactivity and engagement with site visitors. The website features a pledge system, photo and story uploads and the ability to comment on posted articles.

The purpose of the I GET IT!  in Faribault website is to raise the awareness of the economic impact of shopping local. Under the direction of Kymn Anderson the shop local committee came together with a plan to enroll local business owners and the residents of the Faribault area by taking a pledge to shift a portion of outside spending to local businesses.

As a small business owner, dedicated to using Internet technologies for local business marketing, this is a project that I embrace whole heartedly. I encourage everyone to take the pledge and support your local businesses.
