The Acupuncture Clinic at Health Central, a healing and wellness center in Faribault, Minnesota, wanted to increase it’s marketing exposure on the Internet. Health Central is listed in numerous online directories but was not getting measurable traffic through those indirect channels. They needed a website to take control of their business marketing.

We worked closely with Terry and Michelle LaCroix of The Acupuncture Clinic to create a unique website to market their business. 1. Owatonna Web Design – Yoga and Wellness Center – Yoga Website Design

Dr. Jason approached us last summer about creating a website for his chiropractic business. He wanted a clean professional design that would load fast, rank well in the search engines, and publish news releases. He also wanted a website that he could update himself.

A few months had past since our first conversation. Dr. Jason had been shopping around the website maze looking for a good value and a firm that would meet his business objectives. He wanted more than a pretty website, he wanted one that would work for his business and be search engine friendly. After all, no matter how pretty the website is or how well it is laid out, a website is useless if it cannot be found by those seeking you. I assured him that we could not only meet his needs, but exceed them.

Once again, we turned to WordPress to build a content management system for its power and ease of use. Dr. Jason and his staff can update their own website from home or office or anywhere the Internet is available.

The Hoisington Family Chiropractic website features an embedded Google Calendar, response form for scheduling appointments, asking questions or making comments. A newsletter/blog has been incorporated into the site which allows for articles,  making announcements and publishing client testimonials. The website also features an embedded Google Map showing his place of business and providing drive to directions from any location.

I want to wish Dr. Jason the best with his business and online marketing efforts. I’ve targeted the search terms: Faribault chiropractic and Faribault chiropractor in particular. It will be fun to watch his website reach the top of the list over the course of the next week. This is a pretty bold prediction for a website in a rather competitive marketplace.

Massage Therapy Websites

Faribault Web is pleased to announce the launch of Amy Morgan‘s new website Minnesota Massage Therapy. www.massagetherapymn.com. Amy’s new dynamic content management system is a state of the art CMS developed on the WordPress platform.

We originally designed Amy’s first website www.massagery.com about a year ago. She reported great results with the website in attracting new business for Amy’s Massage Therapy services. But, Amy wanted more features, a shopping cart for her gift certificates, the ability to update her website, add fresh content and a newsletter/blog system to better communicate with her visitors.

WordPress Content Management System – CMS

WordPress proved to be a perfect solution to develop her new site. As the world’s largest open source blogging system, it offers all the new features needed to take her business to a new level. A shopping cart and newsletter software was added via WordPress’ plugin system.

A WordPress CMS also proved to be the right answer for her to easily update her website from home or anywhere she may travel. This content management system allows her to make changes to her website or even add new pages — all by herself, with an easy to use control panel.

What’s In A Domain Name?

After looking at a year’s worth of traffic statistics from Google Analytics, it was decided to change the domain name of her website. Massagery, though it contains the keyword massage, is not a well known English language term. Massage Therapy MN.com was chosen because it contains common search terms for what she does and where her business is located. She had received a lot of keyword searches on the term “massage therapy” and “Minnesota massage therapy”, so that made an easy decision for selecting this as a domain name. The traffic Amy has built up on her old site is being redirected to her new website via 301 redirects, visitors to www.massagery.com are automatically forwarded to her new website.

All of her web pages have been search engine optimized for keywords, including page titles, meta descriptions and meta keywords. She rewrote her content to include different sets of keywords on each page along with an internal link structure that targets these keywords.
